  : No breakfast was served. Although location was acceptable.
  : This is the reasons why we left the following day although it was paid in full for four days and no ways to get refunded for the lack of quality: 1) there was no AC in the bedroom but only in the dinning room area and had a really bad fungus smell when turned on. 2) the lack of aeration in the room caused fungus. See pictures!! 3) this is not what we purchased and we were so disappointed once we arrived. While we were writing this message sitting outside the room we met the neighbours from suite GOLD and they had the same issues. The host received a message from them with the same issue about the AC and her answer was the same youre in a cave and AC is not required!!! We booked a room with AC!!! We asked for the host her professionalism to resolve the issue in the most respectable way and nothing was resolved. The host was arrogant and never showed up to implement a solution.

  : The location was ideal for the town centre; its shops and restaurants. The location also worked well for wedding events we'd travelled for.
  : The accommodation at Olive Caves was hugely disappointing. The house itself was dark throughout and the lighting, particularly in the rear bathroom was completely inadequate. But it was the dirt/soiling that I really struggled with. Fixed upholstery on the armchair and one of the dining chairs was heavily soiled with grease/fat marks - completely unacceptable. .Furthermore; the wardrobe in the bedroom was completely unusable. Like all of the furniture in the house, it was second hand and roughly painted a flat white matte; however, on opening the wardrobe doors the interior appeared as the original and it absolutely stank. The smell was so bad we had to hang our wedding clothes either side of the outside of the wardrobe and keep our clothing in our cases for the duration of our stay. Not what I expect from a holiday stay. The cleaner who came in every day did a very good job in what we considered very difficult circumstances. Our overall experience was that far from the impression of 'shabby chic' as advertised in photographs it was simply sub-standard accommodation. I delayed this review as I'd really wanted to like this place but our experience really put a damper on our holiday. To put in perspective; It was one of four different accommodations we stayed in during our time in Santorini and it was the only one that failed to meet our expectations.

  : property was closed to the center of Fira so it was convenient to visit different spots. all the main restaurants and bus stops were a short walk away. Bed was comfortable and cleaning lady showed up everyday to clean and give us clean towels. communication was responsive if there were questions.
  : the bathroom is very dated and needs quite a bit of updating. the water temperature is unstable and we had to shower in cold water 3 out of the 4 days we were there. the trash can in the bathroom was broken and requires you to use to hand to lift open the lid. based on how much we were paying per night, a much better quality place was expected.

  : Overall we were very happy with our stay at Olive cave house and Vera was excellent considering she had a newborn. She explained everything on a map which made it easy for us. Plus she was very quick to respond when we needed information. She was always willing to help, great customer service. Location was superb ,10-15 min walk to fira which was very convenient. From the hill you could see the sea. Good location. Will recommend stay here.
  : If you arrive at night , be prepared for a climb up the hill which is short ,as the Taxis dont go up all the way. Better to ask for a transfer from the airport ,as it may be hard to locate. Bathroom was small in one of the bedrooms so it got very steamy as there was no window. Otherwise the Gold Apt is very spacious and clean . Kitchen utensils could have been better and smaller, especially if you want to rustle up a quick meal.

  : Wifi did not work for the length of our stay. The satellite tv also didnt work. The linens were the worst I have ever had, the towels and robes felt like sandpaper.

  : The location was really good - right around the corner from the Three Bells and short walk down to Fira marketplace. The terrace had ocean views which were lovely. The apartment was very clean and suited our family well. The bathrooms were so pretty with their stone and cave like design, really felt like I was in a special place. The host was very responsive as well which was great.
