  : Small hotel in a beautiful location on the shore of lake Geneva. The facilities seem to have been renovated recently whilst preserving the charm of the property. Unfortunately we booked too late to secure one of the lake-fronting rooms (with balcony) but our room looking on the street, was perfectly adequate and comfortable, with a good bed and tasteful decoration. The bathroom was small but modern and functional. Impeccable cleanliness. Good quality bathroom products. Wifi works well. As this is a pedestrian-only medieval village filled with large crowds (in August) private parking (free) is in a secure, underground garage about 350 maters away. Not a problem unless you have a lot of luggage or with limited mobility. Breakfast (continental, extra cost) was very good with excellent products, including some that are homemade.
  : Dinner was a big disappointment. Unfortunately, management seems to have yielded to greed in catering for mass tourism, with little regard for the hotel guests. The menu was limited, only including easy dishes prepared in large quantities well in advance. The fried perch fillets were obviously re-heated, resulting in poor texture, and the french fries were greasy and soggy. We did not finish our plates. All that for 50 Euros ! That is a great shame as this hotel (I would rate it 10 on a stand alone basis) has the potential for a restaurant of a much higher standard, offering better value.

  : Can't really review this hotel because we stayed at another hotel in Yvoire by mistake. But we did have an excellent meal at this hotel and the staff here was very helpful in making the adjustments for our error. This hotel did look beautiful.
