  : Corine and Arthur were very attentive and could not have been more helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, with there are outside areas with comfortable chairs and tables, which we would have used, if the weather had been kinder. Breakfast was fab, with an omelette made with foraged mushrooms and fresh bread from the local baker. They also catered for my wife who is gluten intolerant. The location is fabulous and we wish we'd had more time to explore the area.

  : it was very pretty, in lovely picturesque surroundings. Also breakfast was included which is good.
  : on the description it stated that ALL rooms had coffee/ tea maker and minibar/ fridge which our room did not, they were in the main breakfast room. if we had known this we would have brought our own kettle.

  : A little isolated, but beautifully located, all the comfort and amenities needed, and very friendly hosts. Really enjoyed it.

  : Great location, a retreat! As it is in a small village rather far off, we had a great time watching stars as weather was nice, no disturbing civilisation lights around, a great terrace with deck chairs and a fridge with cooled white wine bottles that can be purchased in the location. Very welcoming owners, nice breakfast with fresh food. On one hand it is great being located far off, but for hunting a dinner you need to drive some kilometres, e.g. to Brantome where you find restaurants of any rating. Thus, it is recommended to drink your wine not at the dinner but when back at the location and safely seated in the deck chairs of your terrace.....
  : The lamps in the sleeping room were not really suitable for reading (e.g. a book in bed).
