  : Great location in Provance.
  : Travelling abroad in a country where one is likely not to have cell phone roaming, has posed a real challenge for us. We have tried communicating to the landlord well in advance after booking, to ensure there is no difficulty when arriving early or late. In the case of Cerise en Provance, the landlord cannot speak a word of English. She has sent communication very late which mean we arrived at the house with somehow coordinates finding the door open with a message. The linen for the beds were provided, but no duvet covers or sheets; yet we pay a ridiculous rent for it for the week. As for cleaning service, the washer and dryer is provided, but no washing soap (not for kitchen or washers). How should one live in self-catering apartment for which one is charged Euro 60 for linen and Euro 60 for cleaning service? Booking.com and the landlord must communicate the extra costs well in advance (and before the booking is reserved and immediate payment is made). I would not have booked Cerise en Provance if I knew I would need to pay cash for the stay as well as Euro 120 for extras. All parties need to share such details way in advance (as they do know this beforehand)
