  : Location was good for skiing out and central to restaurants.Bar in hotel was good.
  : Location is ski out only, you have to walk back.Apartment was old and extremely dusty, although some other rooms looked better.You have to clean the room when leaving or be charged heavily, deposit of 200 euros required and not mentioned on Booking. Rooms didn't seem deep cleaned in years, dust was on everything.No duvets provided and they said they had run out. Old and unwashed blanket left on bed instead.Horrible sulpher smell in corridors.No basic cleaning supplies for apartment during stay, no sponge or soap etc.Ski locker room was useful but cramped.Worst still, staff failed to assist during a medical emergency.

  : Good location, we were able to ski out from the hotel, and on return, it was a short walk back from the slopes. Good size apartment, and it was really great to have 2 bathrooms for our group (2 small families). 2 out of the 3 bedrooms were internal rooms and didn't have proper windows, but it was ok. There was a small playground opposite the hotel, which the kids enjoyed when they were tired of skiing, and we got to enjoy a coffee at the cafe next to it. The front staff lent us a sled for the kids to play with, which was lovely. They were very accommodating.

  : Location was amazing, step out the door and you can ski onto the slopes. Right in the upper town centre, opposite and next to two good supermarkets, restaurants and bars close by. Ski locker room with padlocks provided and a door right out onto the slope was very useful. Overall would defo recommend for a reasonable option right in one of the best Val Thorens locations
  : I can't comment on the proper hotel rooms or larger apartments (the beds might be comfy) but I don't recommend booking a studio apartment. Granted it was excellent value, It was great to have the kitchenette, and it was just about big enough for a couple - but I didn't realise we would be sleeping on a sofa bed. The sofa bed was really uncomfortable and old, sloping down in the middle like a bad camp bed - I had to prop up the base of it with cushions and jumpers to level it so my back didn't hurt from sleeping on the dipping mattress. I think they should just put in a standard double bed in the same space instead of the sofa bed - it's not like anyone will bother folding the sofa bed away during the day anyway. Having to clean the flat before departure was a bit annoying but given how reasonable the price was, fair enough. They provide cleaning stuff and didn't take long to do.
