  : Th location is beautiful, the swimming pool gorgeous with a beautiful view. The gardens and outside spaces to sit are lovely.The reception,stone floors and front sitting room (open to guests) are beautifully authentic for the old French Hotel experience.
  : The room we stayed in was very dated, as in decor, but large. The ensuite was just functional, the bath plug didnt hold water and really was narrow and short. The toilet seat was loose and there is mould in the silicone around the bath. The breakfast was disappointing,although a good range.We would have liked eggs but didnt see the sign till after. and even though it had rained during the night, someone could easily have dried the chairs and we could have sat outside for our breakfast, which was to be one of the highlights ,for us ,during our stay. Very expensive for what it is,but sure the price reflects the location and the pool. Do Not attempt to drive up to the hotel, unless you are fully aware of how narrow and steep with right angle turns the access is. There are obstacles and people in the road and then 2 deep parking carport opposite the hotel. We were asked to leave our key with reception, so our vehicle could be moved if necessary, which was a worry, as it was a hire car and I nearly burnt the clutch out on the hill! If we had known, we could easily have parked at the bottom car park and although a hill to climb with luggage, our car (hired) would not have been put at some risk negotiating the access. scary and G and T needed when you arrive.

  : Parking was an issue as the car had to be faced one way after parking in a very tight street in a classic car to get told to turn it around seemed absolutely stupid its the same length what ever way it faces but this was a massive issue

  : Historic and picturesque! Location was outstanding. We enjoyed two early evening times reading and taking in the lovely garden!
  : The outdated bathroom - the shower was awkward, the bed was not so comfortable.
