: A beautiful location immersed in the vineyards and lavender fields of Provence. The apartment was charming, with a breathtaking balcony view where you could have breakfast in the shade (unless you got up super late, by which time the sun rays would have appeared). When you walked through the apartment to the front door, you also had another fabulous view from that perspectiveloved, loved the pool and the rustic setting. Vincent was a warm and generous host, welcoming us with a bottle of wine. He even presented us with another bottle when we used the bbq for the first time. The weather was hot, but the apartment was cool, and we didn't really feel the need to use the air conditioning too much. There were plenty of trees so you could take cover from the sun. While the house seemed isolated, you could take a half-hour walk to the quaint nearby village of Villars. There is plenty to explore in the vicinity, but it's also possible to visit places that are further away, such as Arles and Avignon, if you don't mind spending an hour and a half or so on the commute (we had our car). Vincent always had some good tips, depending on what we felt like doing on any particular day. It was also very easy to spend a day on the property, lounging by the pool and in the shade. Loved that there was always plenty of ice on hand. We travelled as a family of three, including our 16 yo, who loved the ready access to the pool. We could have easily stayed another week.
: The wifi was a little spotty, but who needs wifi when you're on holiday?!

: It was our second stay at La Fontaine Des Noyers and it was as good as the first time. The views are amazing. Great location. The host is very friendly.

: central location in the heart of the country side.Peaceful and relaxing.lovely pool! Vincent the owner was very helpful and friendly.
: Too many stairs to climb! The bedroom in the basement not suitable for adults especially if older!
