  : The location is wonderful, the house is a nice, historic townhouse in the center of the village. We had a suite in the upper floor and a beautiful view to the hills. The suite is made modern and cosy. The breakfast was rich and tasty.
  : The open bathroom is luxurious, but there is no barrier on the floor between shower and bedroom so that we had to dry the floor almost in the whole room, also under the bed after having shower.

  : the man was irritable about giving directions where to park, etc. the woman didnt like the idea of breakfast having to be before 9am(8:15)but we had to be somewhere an hour away, we were there for workthe breakfast was very simple coffee, croissant et thats all (for the price of the room?) they obviously were on overload and didnt want us there

  : St. Paul de Vence is a beautiful medieval village that manages to retain its charm despite all the commercialism. It must be said, the myriad artists (and art dealers) operating out of quaint shopfronts are offering outstanding and diverse collections. One walks through a living gallery with endless appreciation. Situated right in the centre of this artistic and architectural fairytale is Hostellerie de la Fontaine, and thus it too is magical, special... and rather expensive. We drank a bottle of red on the terrace one cold December evening. It was a 'once in a lifetime'. We loved it. Merci.

  : Location was fabulous - right in the centre of the town. Nice large bedroom and bathroom area, with separate sitting room, with lovely views over the surrounding area. Some of the staff were really lovely and friendly. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was good.
  : Only offered croissants and bread/jam and coffee for breakfast - no other choices despite there being a chef and restaurant on site. No yogurt, fruit, ham, cheese or eggs. The room was really nice but was only serviced once and only because we asked for it to be done. Otherwise it was left. We had to make our own bed each day and the towels were only changed once during the seven days we were there. There are only two bedroom suites at the hotel ( ours and one on the 2nd floor below us )and while we were there, the one on the second floor was being turned into another dining room so there were renovations going on which we were not told about beforehand, and so it was noisy and there were workmen's tools everywhere that we had to step over to get down from our room. There was also no fire escape and so was not ideal if there had been a fire, as our room was on the top (3rd) floor and there was only a very narrow unprotected staircase to get down to the lower floors. Also, the business owner was very unfriendly and we were made to feel in the way, while the renovation work was going on.
