  : Over priced breakfast that we were not aware of. Old fashioned rooms that were tatty and the fire place was dirty. Staff generally were not friendly and grumpy.

  : Restaurant was open late and the terrace was a lovely place to have a drink.
  : Room was warm and humid and smelled a bit like mildew. They dont have air conditioning in any but 1 or 2 of the rooms, and that was unexpected as booking.com said they did. The hotel told us that theyd let booking.com know about the AC situation multiple times, however the information remained incorrect on booking.coms site. After a 5 hour drive to get to the property, my husband and I were extremely disappointed to be shown to a room that was muggy and smelled of mildew. The rooms are billed as luxury, but even aside from the fact that there is no AC, there leaves much to be desired. The bedding is old school - some kind of satin blend comforter. The lighting is also very poor in the room. Finally, the bathroom is what similar to what Ive seen in Hilton Garden Inn types of places - vinyl lined walls tub, basic fixtures, etc. On top of all of this, the garbage can in the bathroom was on the sink, which just grossed me out. I shouldnt have to move it after spending $300 for the night. I do want to note that almost all of the staff (except for the brusque man who showed us to our room), was extremely polite and helpful. Bottom line, if we had paid $100, then fine, its what Id have expected, but for $300+, it was an utterly disappointing experience that we were simply stuck with since we arrived after 11pm.

  : the hotel room in the rock was a pleasant experience. The restaurant food was creative, and the service was impeccable.

  : Room (15) was noisy and subject to loud vibrations from the adjacent space. Door frame height at foot of stairwell without warning causing me (6ft 2inches) to crack my head on the door frame and hurt myself.

  : Poorly furnished rooms with zero facilities, partly due to Covid. Interesting in that some were carved into a limestone cliff
