  : The bed was very comfortable
  : Trying to ring reception was pointless. No one picked up. Unfortunately we requested twin beds and got a double on arrival. Luckily, the hotel sorted it out the next day but the inconvenience was slightly annoying after travelling so late.

  : All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculately clean and the bed super comfortable. The bathroom was lovely - very nice toiletries, great towels and good lighting. The aircon also worked really well - and we needed it as it was super hot while we were there! The breakfast had decent range of choice, all very fresh and the buffet regularly replenished. I like the European style brekkie of cold cuts, cheese and boiled eggs so it was perfect for me. eg French Bonne Mamman jams, good quality butter, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt. The bakery selection was good - the croissants, pain au chocolate & baguettes were delicious - I stuck to the white baguette and they also had a scrummy multigrain. My friend had the fresh wholegrain you could cut yourself and toast and said it was also very nice. We didn't have any fruit juice but were offered orange or apple. There was a coffee machine but the quality was excellent. We opted for the full buffet at 19 Euros - quite expensive but it was convenient and set us up for the day. We had great food in the area - classic set menus but our favourite was actually Italian! Highly recommend the pizza place next door called Sorrento. The pizzas were amazing and one easily fine for 2 people. Area: Great to get around as the main attractions in Paris are so spread out. There is quite a lot within walking distance and you are also 5 mins away from a metro station so you can get around quite easily. You do have to be aware that this area is also a little dodgy! A lot of groups of guys (often drunk on the corners) we didn't feel threatened However even though we are both quite worldly wise have worked in pubs etc we both agreed that we would not want to be walking back to the hotel late at night. To be fair this was also probably influenced by witnessing two ladies of the night have a fight (or rather one was banging the other ones head against a door and screaming!).
  : The only thing I did not like was the size of my room & in particular the lack of wardrobe/hanging space. I was travelling with a friend and we both had rooms on the top floor. My room was ridiculously small as it was a corner room - you could not easily walk around the bed. My biggest complaint though was that you could not even hang a dress in the wardrobe because it was a built-in using the slant of the roof. I did go and ask for a room change immediately but the hotel was full. The concierge, Kadim, was brilliant and really tried to help but nothing he could do. My friend's room was significantly bigger (although not huge - you could easily walk around the bed and she had a normal wardrobe). We both agreed that my room should not be the same price as hers and if there were two people in my room it would have been extremely uncomfortable and there would have been no space at all for two sets of clothes in the tiny wardrobe (you only had 4 hangers and could only hang shirts.)

  : The location, the staff the room were all very good. There are so many amenities close by and in walking distance. The tube station is like a 3-5min walk depending on which one you use. It is a major connecting hub to all tourist attractions where you can connect to the secondary tube line if needed.
  : There is always a lot of people across the road that are standing there and sometimes you feel uncomfortable however this is not always the case. Due to the Olympics there is a lot of police travelling up and down the road so you hear the sirens throughout the day and night.

  : The location was a bit further out than I had realised, my Mum had mobility issues, so it was a bit more of a walk to lots of bars and restaurants than I had thought
