  : Overall it was a great experience. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet.
  : The coffee cups in the room are not for espresso. They are big and not fitting the coffee machine. There must be a lack of experienced staff. IN the restaurant there were many young apprentices - which is fine - but need more confidence. The service was a bit long.

  : The chateau is stunning. Rooms are luxuriously furnished. The restaurant and bar area is elegant and comfortable at the same time. Food and drinks are delicious.

  : Hotel is beautiful and what a location. Room is clean and good size. Good quality furnishings have been used and it is well kept.
  : Breakfast is below the standard for a hotel of this quality. Couldn't believe the number of guests with tattoos that allowed to wear their hats in the restaurants. The bell hop offered to help with the luggage after we got it into the hotel ourselves!

  : The buildings and grounds were beautiful, although the overall vibe was more one of a corporate hotel for functions rather than a 5* luxury retreat for couples or friends. Whilst we drove, the location is excellent for CDG airport and is close enough to the beautiful town of Chantilly for a visit (or Horse Racing event if that's your things). In General facilities were very good and the hotel felt new (within the context of an old chateau) and clean (small issue below being an exception) The food at L'Opera restaurant was excellent, some of the best I have had (and I have dined in 1, 2 and 3* Michelin restaurants)... however the service requires some attention,
  : As a 5* hotel it felt a bit too corporate, examples being some of the paintings adorning the walls (reproductions of classics such as Da Vinci Cartoon of Madonna and Child). In a 5* chateau I would expect at least some original artwork even by minor artists. Whilst the food was excellent, the service was not 5*. Seated without the offer of an aperitif. No offer of a sommelier. Food arrived at table almost at the same time BUT NOT at the same time. Finally the Maitre De placed the bill on the table without it being asked for and with an air of distain, walking away as my wife commented to him on the quality of the food. We did have an issue with the toilet in the room (not major) but more importantly dead bugs in the wardrobe (beetle around 1.5cm in length) and my wife "hates" bugs. My real issue is that on complaining to front of house I was told the wardrobe would be cleaned immediately (as one would expect) - what i did not expect was an excuse - "we are in the forest sir" To finish on the service we were charged twice for one of the rooms. Which took a message via Booking.com and a follow up email to resolve 3 days later despite a call with the hotel to say it would be resolved immediately on the day of departure.
