  : Great location in a charming town. Public car parks very close to hotel entrance
  : More like a restaurant with rooms than a hotel. I suppose they didnt have a full hotel liquor licence because they wouldt serve me a glass of beer or wine unless I had a meal!No guest lounge so nowhere to sit apart from in my room or the restaurant. I would say that dogs are tolerated, but not really welcome although they charge for pets staying. After I checked in and paid for my room, I bent down to pick up my bag and hit my head on the counter as I stood up. The manager on reception, who Id been dealing with, saw it happen was actually sniggering to himself - didnt even ask if I was okay.

  : After I had booked, I received a message from the hotel informing me that the reception closed at 10 pm and that I would not be able to check in after that time, so I had to change my travle plans to ensure an earlier arrival. On arrival, as I was being shown to my room, the manager told me that it would not be possible simply to have some coffee in the morning - it was either breakfast or nothing, so I opted for nothing. The room had a kettle and sachets of coffee in it, but no cups, so one has to wonder what the kettle and coffee powder were for. The plumbing in the hotel was very loud and thesound insulation poor, so I did not get a good night's sleep.

  : The manager very kindly stayed up to let me in - very late - following suspension of the Channel Tunnel services. I thought I might have to sleep in the car. Of course the location is perfect.
  : Its a bit old fashioned but thats fine - its authentic!

  : The location of the hotel is ideal, right in the middle of the town but in a side alley so it is very quiet
  : The room was very small and there no extraction nor window in the bathroom, the smell from the bathroom was terrible and we had to sleep with the window open.

  : Family run hotel. Very welcoming. We ate in the restaurant. Beautiful meal and good value for the quality. Lovely breakfast, with entertainment from the owner's toddler. Very sweet lad.Nice town to exercise our dog after a day in the car.
  : There is no parking on the hotel grounds. Lots of free parking locally. So, it's not that bad.
