  : Our room was on the 2nd floor with a small balcony, looking out towards the park and the Casino. The hotel is located on a quiet road near the Casino/Spa. There's free parking on the other side of the park, which is only a short distance away. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and had a delicious meal. Breakfast was good too.

  : Just too noisy.Air con wasn't operating so we had to open the windows. Opposite the hotel was an incredibly loud event at the theatre opposite. This went on into the early hours.There was also a lot of cars starting throughout the night. Meant we had a terrible sleepThe restaurant was full when we arrived, but managed to eat down the roadRoom/bathroom was very tired, and the carpet very stained. Put my clothes on the floor to get changed into in the bathroom and they were really dusty when I picked them up...

  : Nothing. Dreadful stay with very little sleep. Restaurant and breakfast were ok.
  : The hotel no longer has air con because it is broken and the new owners apparently havent bothered to repair it. There is an incredibly loud festival throughout the summer right outside the hotel which means that the parking nearby and street parking dont exist. The road to the hotel was completely closed off, so you cant even get near to drop off. We had to ask the police where to park and it was a 9 minute walk away in the Intermarch car park. With 3 children under 5 and lots of bags, this was so difficult. The hotel knows that it is cut off on these evenings, but did nothing to pre-warn or help us. In fact the receptionist pretended that it had come as a surprise to her too! The festival was brass bands and rock bands and continued until 1am. It was impossible to sleep because of the noise and because we couldnt open our windows, so it was unbearably hot. Our bedroom walls were actually vibrating with the music, even with the windows closed. The hotels attitude was that it was nothing to do with them! Had we been forewarned, or known that there was no parking nearby, no air con and no chance of sleep until well after midnight, we would have changed our booking and found another hotel. We had booked two family rooms and the carpets were dirty at the edges and the wardrobe door was hanging off in one of the rooms. There are already 4 other complaints along the same lines as ours for the month of August and in each case the management has said they were sorry and would take the comments on board, but treated our complaint as if it was surprising to them!
