  : *** THE FOOD *** Our evening meals were generally very tasty. It was clear the chef prepared the food with good quality ingredients, each of the 3 courses was presented beautifully. *** THE ROOM *** Our room was a Deluxe Queen Room – in one of the separate single storey annexes. The bed was a huge 2 metre square and very comfortable. The room style was “modern business” – with fitted desk and dressing table. The bathroom was a good size, with bath and shower over - good pressure and lots of hot water; large wash-basin and WC. TV had a selection of French channels. There was adequate hanging and storage space. A large keycode safe was provided (free of charge). Air-con was quiet and very effective. The room was serviced well daily.*** THE STAFF *** We found all the staff (front desk, restaurant) to be very friendly and helpful, and interested in chatting with us. They are a tremendous asset to the hotel.*** THE LOCATION *** Very convenient for Avignon, and the the wider Provence area.
