  : Breakfast was meager, especially our first morning, there was no soap for the shower, and Beaune is 10 minutes away by car with nothing nearby. I'm scratching my head about how it was so highly rated.

  : The owner was very courteous, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exactly what I wanted: I had a perfectly fried egg with delicious fresh bread, and a decent coffee. The jacuzzi was an unexpected bonus after a very long drive and I slept extremely well. Everything was very clean and good quality. It's a really peaceful spot and the property has been beautifully restored by the current owners, with pretty gardens and thoughtful touches. The kitchen is useful and I was able to put food I had with me in the fridge overnight, which was super helpful on a long drive in hot weather.
  : There wasn't a kettle in the room and there was supposed to be, and it was quite late in the evening when I realised so I didn't like to interrupt the owners to ask, and I couldn't find one in the kitchen either. The bedside tables were tiny, and in general there was a lack of space to put things on (except in the bathroom which was fine). I couldn't open the armoire but there were useful hooks on the wall.

  : good sized room but a little spartan, very comfortable with ideal shower and loo attached ideal, acceptable breakfast included in price which was a big plus. Very hospitable, helpful hostess - recommended excellent restaurant in eastern Beaune, which proved ideal.
  : no evening meal facilities. Local village opportunities were full so had to trek into Baune to find a meal (which was very successful !) a good 10 minutes drive east of Beaune, but ideal, Easy Access to northbound motorway Hostess teenage son plays very loud music!!

  : Very nice room in a converted barn. The breakfasts were delicious and Madame was very friendly and helpful.
  : Even Google had trouble finding the right driveway. It would be very difficult in the dark. Pull in front of the red metal gates and ring the bell to open them

  : Good breakfast with home made yoghurt and jams. Very helpful host who spoke English and was able to suggest and book a good place to eat in Beaune. Very quiet setting. Individually decorated rooms. Nice to stay in a B and B that felt more traditionally French than an anonymous hotel when travelling. Although outside Beaune it was an easy and straightforward drive into the city.
  : The gate is a bit hard to find at night as difficult to see turning in the dark and three fairly close together driveways. However helpful and patient neighbour directed us back to the correct one.
