  : Excellent food... Informative and helpful staff, including the owner. The room with a balcony was very comfortable and well-appointed. The location is beautiful but getting to it was slightly difficult. I left the A64 at the exit suggested by the SATNAV which then took me on the scenic route which was windy, narrow and had practically no passing places. There were a lot of farms so meeting a tractor would have meant reversing for a very long way... This route lasted for over 18 km. I suggest leaving the motorway at the exit for Pau and then using a normal D road until this hotel. I gather that many SatNavs take cars on this harum scarum route.

  : Nice, calm location near The Pyrenees and Lourdes; clean and comfortable chalet (with good airco); friendly staff and good food

  : Being Surrounded by a very professional team and and an exceptional site made the stay really enjoyable. So peaceful and comfortable.Besides there is a really good restaurant and a perfect swimming pool.

  : Excellent breakfast and dinner. As a solo traveller by motorbike I enjoyed the unusual 'pod' accommodation in the hotel's small chalets, especially its airconditioning on days reaching 39.5C! Le Vieux Logis offers solitude but good access to services needed, excellent location for exploring Pyrenees passes, friendly and efficient management and staff, very pleasant surroundings and peaceful silence. My motorbike especially appreciated shade and shelter under a lime tree next to the chalet!
  : The unbelievably hot weather! A bit hard to blame the hotel - indeed, the air conditioning of my little chalet made it blissfully comfortable, especially for a good night's sleep.
