  : Very poor hospitality or customer orientation. Totally pretentious and transactional. Trying to relaunch a run down Manoir. Difficult if you do not have the basics of customer satisfaction or welfare in mind. Very weird modern Chinese garden in middle of the garden. Totally incongruous in the setting.

  : Position next to the river We drove around to the other bank for a picnic and a swim one evening beautiful.Room size goodThe Garden at the front was lovely not quite sure what the Chinese style building was all about !
  : A bit scruffy in a few places but that reflected the price.Would of been lovely to have somewhere to sit by the river.The Terrace upstairs was a great view but the plastic grass and knackered table and chairs ruined it.Could be such a great place to while away the evening

  : no lift and the lower priced bedrooms are a steep climb up two sets of stairs. Despite the hotel being empty we had to pay 200 euros a night for a room on the first floor.

  : Cleanness of the room especially the bed linen (my wife got an allergy over night most likely due to bugs in the bed sheets). We also have found dust in the bathroom when we arrived. Housekeeping made on demand and not systematic during the stay. Breakfast quality and variety is not acceptable for a four-star hotel. Staff is not competent and not pleasant. The hotel closes gates at 9pm and there is no one at the hotel desk at night. We initially had planned to stay 5 nights but eventually decided to leave this place after one day. Definitely recommend NOT to book this venue. There was no one from management when we left even though I did insist to have a discussion with them. Extremely poor quality value and not up to usual standards for a so-called 4-star hotel. The hotel takes Covid as an excuse not to do their basic job: housekeeping, welcome and service quality.Really disappointed and angry. Will file a complaint.

  : Lovely hotel run by a delightful couple, Michelle and Ann-e. They could not do enough for us and made our stay very special. The hotel has a echo of the Far East as the owners have constructed a Chinese garden which is wonderful to wander around.
  : Little bit of a walk into the small village which has only a couple of small eating places.
