  : The owner was kind and helpful, the breakfast was delicious- all homemade! We had a good evening meal there too. I loved all the original artwork on the walls and the old fashioned (in a good way) feel of the restaurant and lounge area. The rooms were clean and comfortable and good value.

  : Host was very helpful when trains were on strike. Nice auberge in interesting small village.

  : Breakfast was lovelyhomemade yogurt, plum jam and orange cake were delicious. Alongside fresh croissants and cold meats and cheese, set us up for the day! It was like a home from home.

  : The location it was the only hotel in the area and the host was helpful under the circumstances . The hotel is very rustic and I would imagine very cosy in the winter . We specifically booked to experience the Yellow train and choose Latour de Carole as the start of the journey . Even though disappointed the restaurant was closed the host opened the bar with wine and beer . The break fast was typical continental and made early for us as we had a early start . I think we were the only guest staying at that time .
  : We were not warned when we booked that the restaurant would be closed on a Monday and we arrived on the Monday . Part of the reason for booking was that the restaurant had interesting reviews . There is no other restaurants and we ended up with an 80 euro taxi ride into Spain only ten mins away but made for an expensive non budgeted evening meal. The taxi driver and the host were very helpful but if we go again we would probably go straight from the station to the Spanish side and then back to the yellow train trip on the morning . If we had know about the restaurant being closed we may have been able to reschedule the trip arriving on the Tuesday part of the experience for us was the restaurant.

  : Beautiful old house in stunning village. Fantastic welcome from Jordi. He was amazing sorting out taxis for us and making sure that we had something to eat on a Sunday evening.

  : It is very dated and on the day we stayed the restaurant was closed and there are very limited other options in the village.
