  : Staff tried to be friendly and helpful. Wanted to speak English despite me saying I could speak some French :) Very close to a large hypermarket - walking distance 5 mins? No fuel station evident at hypermarket? I found fuel at the best price I'd seen a few minutes after starting on the route to Chateauroux.
  : Location is in a typical commercial estate setting in France but the parking is in an open area of the corner of two roads, not very secure. I had aground floor room and the area outside the window was completely open to the roads outside. Rooms are basic - this is a budget hotel and fine if you need to put your head down for the night Breakfast was a mini continental everything affair - a mouthfull of croissant, a tiny bowl of muesli etc. It was enough but not substantial enough for some travellers. It was all young men working there and it was a magnet for friends of with their phones hanging around the entrance. Not the best impression and would worry some travellers. Next doors bed developed a squeak which repeated with increasing rapidity. The occupants obviously ceased almost as soon as it started, no doubt falling about laughing at the new toy? Anyway, after a pause they resumed for a little longer and then laughed themselves to sleep :)

  : Clean spacious room, friendly staff and good breakfast all at a very good price
  : No complaints. It was all good. Worth diverting from the A20 to stay here.

  : A budget hotel but very clean with comfortable bed. Staff very pleasant and helpful
  : Nothing to do with hotel but Issoudun is limited when it comes to places to eat and drink. Looked forward to a drink in a French square, none to be found and only one place to eat that we could find - La Butchery - which was very good by the way
