  : We loved the drive up to the property through the glorious Gers countryside. We turned in through the gate and were greeted by the beautiful view from the property to the west. We were helped to unload and could then appreciate the views from the front of the building. We checked in and were shown up to our comfortable bedroom with en suite bathroom. We went for a walk around the block which took us just over an hour and saw lots of wildlife and different vegetables, berries, and nuts. LovelyWe went down for a quick drink before dinner and then had a lovely meal. The ingredients were locally sourced where possible and complemented each other. Our allergy to fish was taken into account.We had foie gras, soup of the day, duck breast, chocolate fondant, and turned down the coffee and after dinner drinks.Our host and hostess were charming and spoke very good English. We had a comfortable night and an excellent but simple breakfast.If we are ever in this region again we will go back and stay.
  : The only criticism I can come up with is that the wifi is a bit slow. But then again so is ours at home!
