  : That it was about 5 minutes drive from the lake of Annecy. The hotel room was very spacious which was a pleasant surprise as I was staying for a week. The one member of the reception staff called Pascal impressed me very much and really is the glue that holds the whole hotel together. He greeted me a weary traveller in a wheelchair with such kindness. He took me over to my room across the carpark and made sure that everything was ok. He said anything you need help with please ask and we will help you. Shortly after I couldn’t open the small drinks bottles from my multipack of water. I took them across snd gestured as to what help I required. He was lovely and I did them and asked if I would like my water keeping cold in their fridge. Later that evening I was struggling to get in my room because the draught excluder had come away from the bottom of the door and it wouldn’t let me lock it either. I went across and tried to tell him what was wrong which was very hard. He brought his tools and fixed it right away. He really did go above and beyond to show me on the maps where would be good for me to park or when the markets were located etc. he greeted me every shift he was on with kindness which is all any traveller needs when they are paying to stay there. He was the only one to apologise for the way the drunk guests behaved towards me and showed empathy.
  : That it was situated under a very noisy motorway and busy roads. From 5.30am you won’t get any sleep due to the traffic noise. The disabled bathroom was spacious enough and the toilet seat was of the correct height. The tiles on the floor were not non slip and were incredibly dangerous once wet. There were no Grab rails on the wall just passed the shower area to hold onto to avoid slipping. The gradient of the tiles around the plug hole did not ensure that the water drained away. It wasn’t steep enough and so it just flooded the bathroom. All up to the sink and around the toilet snd up to the door. Bearing in mind I put the shower on low and faced it towards the wall it still did this. I was given one small bath mat to dry the floor with. In the end it just spread the water around and made the room completely unsafe. Also the toilet had a grab rail that went behind you so there was no way you could use it to get up. It was because of the layout of the room but they could have fitted 2 fold down handrails that did work. There was an altercation between drunk guests and I was left scared in my room whilst the guests were outside shouting. It spoilt the rest of my stay. The staff did not speak enough understandable English for where it was located. Dutch people speak very good English to them and I expected them to be able to speak an enough back to me to be understood.

  : The room very tired looking, in need of updating.Too close to a considerable busy main road, noise audible in the rooms. We did ask to move rooms and was accommodated but the sound was only marginally better.

  : Value for money, clean, comfortable, quiet, excellent restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff.
  : Location bit out of town but not a show stopper. Some folk might stuggle up the hill walking back, but there was a bus stop not far from the hotel with busses very 15mins or so
