  : Magnificent view. Staying here makes your first day crossing the Pyrenees five kilometers shorter. Thats a good thing. We got a delicious meal for 20 euros. Nice breakfast too.

  : The location and view. Bed was comfortable.
  : Didn't like being charged 108 euro for room only especially as this did not include hot water for a shower when we arrived, or the next morning!Didn't like the extra charge for breakfast at 7 euro each and just getting orange juice, coffee and slices of baguette with butter and marmalade.

  : The location allows splitting the first day into two hikes from one (which would have been difficult for us). The spot along the pilgrimage route commands a breathtaking view of the picturesque St. Michel valley. The dinner was truly delicious.
  : Because the position is not exactly midway between StJPP and Roncesvalles and rain was expected in the afternoon, it required us to leave quite early. The staff seemed to not understand that point when discussing breakfast time/options. But in the end we managed to work out any misunderstandings.

  : The setting is stunning, room very attractive and comfortable, wonderful bathroom(!) and dinner simple and delicious. The staff were engaging and helpful. It was very tempting to stay longer.

  : The view from our room was spectacular, and we enjoyed the company of other pilgrims who were staying there. The lovely Scottish woman who served us breakfast was very warm and kind.
  : Check in time was listed as 3 pm, but when we arrived at 3, the door was locked, and there was no one there. We tried to call, but there was no answer. We had begun to think we were in the wrong place. When someone finally arrived more than 30 minutes later, we were made to feel that we were quite an imposition. In fact, the two French speaking women who worked in the evening were very unwelcoming, bordering on rude, and acted like they were very put out by our presence. All of the food was rather mediocre and overpriced.The setting is peaceful and beautiful, but don't stay here if you can get a room in Orisson.
