  : The location is not great but the hotel created an oasis of outdoor space that is charming and relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated and the decor throughout the bar and restaurants combines contemporary and traditional wonderfully, including sculpture and art.
  : Perhaps it was a function of us staying there from Sunday to Monday when most things are closed and there is reduced staff, but no one really spoke English. Everybody was friendly and really tried but for a hotel that has a website in five languages that was surprising and frustrating. We rolled with it but it was definitely a point of frustration in an otherwise pleasant stay. Also - and this is not their fault - Guide Michelin erroneously lists the restaurant as closed but the bistro as open on Mondays - they are both closed and instead only cold-cuts are served. When I called the hotel the language barrier resulted in us booking a dinner reservation for the Bistro which turned out to be a lovely picnic of cold-cuts on the veranda. It was nice but frustrating because we would have chosen a different location had we known that the bistro was closed.

  : The location was excellent for our return journey from the Swiss Alps. Onsite parking a plus. The dining experience was tip-top - a restaurant with modern decor and friendly, professional service - but the cherry on the cake was the cuisine - immaculately cooked, well presented and with some really inventive flavours. Chapeau M Le Cuisinier! We hope to return again soon.
  : The bedroom was rather functional but all the same clean and comfortable. A fridge and tea/coffee making facility would have been nice.
