  : Lovely Hotel in a gorgeous part of France! Off the beaten track. The staff were fantastic and were so helpful. It is a place we would definitely return too. We loved it.

  : My room was spacious and well appointed. A wonderful place to stay close to Strasbourg and the surrounding area. Both the dinner and breakfast were excellent.

  : Lovely location. Big room (paid for superior room) and good bathroom. Lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere
  : Dates from 1960s? Doing renovations so spa was tricky to get to and all a bit cluttered and bananas. Food ok but not great and it was a bit like eating in a care home with bright lights and school tables.

  : The evening set menu was reasonably priced and had the flexibility to substitute courses from the a la carte menu. The evening meals were served in a dedicated room which was subtly lit and comfortable. There is a good choice of local wine by the glass or carafe as well as a comprehensive wine list. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room with a side room where the buffet is laid out. Plenty of choice, breads, cereal, yogurts, fruit, ham and cheese. Coffee, tea or chocolate is brought to your table.

  : The food in the restaurant is excellent and restaurant staff were good. The restaurant was one of the few areas of this hotel which did not stink of swerage.
  : Our room stank of sewerage, the smell was nauseating. We mentioned this and were given an air freshener which did not do anything. However, our odd complaint did not seem to come as a surprise at all to the owner. Were told it was a newly fitted bathroom..........can only imagine it is a general drain issue but you could smell it in other areas of the hotel. The whole hotel needs some renovation as it is outdated and a bit sad.

  : Firstly, let me say without question that the staff were very hospitable and friendly and went out of their way to help. Furthermore, the setting is superb and there is plenty of parking, so on paper this hotel ticked all our required boxes. We did not use the spa facilities so cannot comment. However...
  : ...the following comments are designed to be constructive and not detrimental to any of the above. It has been mentioned before that there is a "drainy" smell about the place - it's still there, and someone had been smoking in our room recently. The bedroom(s), and we saw three, seem to hail from the seventies regarding decor; there was no facility for making a hot drink in the room - a communal kettle in the lobby just doesn't cut it these days! On the first of three nights there was no hot water and I must have run off gallons finding that out - so wasteful. No central heating either and it was 2C outside. OK, an electric oil-filled radiator had been provided but that didn't really help. Finally, when we did get some hot water, the plugs in both the bath and basin were so ill-fitting that they let the water out quite quickly. Next, sorry to go on but, for the money breakfast was quite unimaginative and meagre especially on the Monday. Also, a little light music in the dining room would help to lift the rather sombre mood of one's fellow diners.
