  : Good location by the river. Helpful staff, adequate parking right opposite. A very pleasant two night stay, would highly recommend.

  : Rooms, linen and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Good size bedroom. Well equipped bathroom. Lovely views over the river. Good central location. Parking outside on the road was pretty easy and free. Friendly staff made us feel welcome (although limited English speakers but that's half the fun of travelling). There's a bar that opens onto the street which was nice to sit outside and have a drink at.
  : No lift made if very difficult for my parents who are getting on and have some mobility issues. Forgot to check if it had a lift as just assumed it would have! Bathrooms were a bit small and cramped. Breakfast was a bit basic and the coffee (from the machine) wasn't great... the coffee from the bar the night before was excellent tho!

  : Location was excellent. I have stayed in Confolens before and this was a better hotel. It also had off road parking.
  : It was Bastille Day and we couldn't get a drink or meal at 10:30 each night although the town was packed.
