: Gorgeous apartment- stunning interiors and lots of amenities. Super friendly host - John was a gent and very helpful. Great location, walking distance to train station, local markets and medieval city. Would recommend!!

: Location was great and everywhere is walkable. John was very welcoming and informative. The apartment is well appointed, stylish and equipped with everything you might need. The shower was great with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The towels once white were sadly grey. They were serviceable but could do with replacing There is little natural light with windows looking out over internal courtyards however the host has tried to remedy this with a good selection of lighting options
: The property owners response to our reviewOur review was fair, offered contructive feedback and acknowledged things beyond the property owners control. We accept the property owners response regarding bedding. We dispute the apartment being left in a 'mess' but have no evidence. We will always take photographs in the future. Bear this in mind if you choose to book this apartment. Ironically my wife is OCD about cleaning and she wiped all the kitchen down on arrival and every utensil and piece of crockery before use. We reiterate that the apartment was clean, tidy and as we found it except for the bottles lined up on the side in the Utility area. Again we would have disposed of them had we been given instructions regarding recycling. What is totally unacceptable are the owners comments regarding his view of our alcohol consumption and his opinion that it was this that affected our sleep and made us irritable. Quote: a rather large amount of empty alcohol bottles, from wines, ciders & beers, the most Ive ever removed from one guest visit. I can only assume your excessive alcohol intake caused your sleep deprivation, your night sweats and nocturnal irritations. A legal adviser has informed us that the property owner's comments are liabelous and defamatory. We at no point stated that we were irritated only that we did not sleep well because the bedding did not suit us and there was an excessive noise issue from the pigeons outside the bedroom window which woke us every morning before 6am - this should be taken into account if you value your sleep. Booking.com have apologised on the property owners behalf for his 'offensive' comments and requested that they be removed. Quote: We are truly sorry to hear about the bad experiences that you had during your stay at the property. It is unacceptable and we cannot imagine how offensive it is to you to view those comments. The property owner refused. Booking.
