  : The rooms were a good size, shower over bath was ok. Swimming pool looked inviting but when we arrived it was raining cats n dogs
  : No restaurant open in hotel, other than for breakfast, and only one other restaurant that would accommodate us in the village, can recommend the pizzeria. Pillows on bed were way too hard and thick for me..... We had an issue with accessing the hotel when we arrived, it was a key code entry system, no staff on reception, eventually managed to contact hotel via a mobile number and they texted some instructions, but as it was raining very hard and we had no cover initially it was not a good situation.

  : First impressions were that it was basic and would benefit from some updating. But we cannot praise the staff enough and the bar area and pool were surprisingly attractive.

  : Our stay was in September 2023. The best bit was the lovely, inviting pool and pool area. Also, has on-site parking which was great. Not ideal was the lack of staff at the time of arrival which was at a reasonable hour (15:00 or so). Although there were instructions (sent via 'messaging' on Booking.com) on how to access the property if no one was there, not all in our party received the instructions. Essentially, this would not have been a problem, however, the 'contact' phone number taped to the front door was not responding (at least on the day that we arrived), so there was no ability to access the rooms, till the one person in our party with the message arrived. The hotel was a bit sterile and could do with updating. Staff did not appear to be that warm or friendly, but maybe that was just her demeanor. One tip, the town is within walking distance (10 - 15 minutes). We had dinner at the gastronomique restaurant there (L'Empreinte) which was amazing.
  : Lack of reception staff despite afternoon arrival. Staff, when she was there, seemed to be needing to multi-task and appeared to be preoccupied which may have impacted on friendliness. Maybe they were short staffed..............
