  : When I booked this apartment, I thought I’d found a bargain, however what I ended up with was very disappointing and cost a lot more than I thought it would.There are two parties involved in the letting of the property: the property letting agent (who is the one who takes your money) and the property management agent who is local in Arc 2000, is responsible for the upkeep of the apartment (so blocked sinks, keeping it clean, etc), but doesn’t have any interest at all with any problems with the booking.All booking details and communication with the letting agent is sent in French – not a problem with Google translate, but something to aware of. Details on how to find the property and the property agent for the keys were poor.Collecting the keys involved meeting the property agent, but she only works up to 7pm on a Saturday, given our flight arrival time this wasn’t possible so our request for a delayed check in was refused and we had to collect the keys from a drop box – not too much of a problem. But given we arrived late on a Sat night in a blizzard, the next opportunity to see her was Monday morning – although when we did eventually see her she was particularly unhelpful, fairly aggressive and totally dismissive of our issues as it ‘wasn’t her fault’ and we should take it up with the booking company.The property details on booking.com had suggested that linen was included, what was provided was disposable, synthetic, thin ‘bedding’. It was grim.There was no mention in the booking details, either on the site or in the follow up info that towels are not included so these had to be bought at the supermarket in the ski village, for 30EUR each, 120EUR for the four of us.The kitchen had a decent amount of glasses, pots and plates, etc (although no baking trays) but nothing such as salt, oil, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, a drying up towel, in fact no cloths of any type. These therefore had to be purchased as well – to be thrown away at the end of the w

  : The apartment was well equipped and very spacious. There were stunning views from the window and it had everything that we needed.
  : On arrival we had to wait 6 hours in order to get any contact with the agent as the local agency opened at 2pm. This made it difficult for us with our luggage and we both felt exhausted after the long journey. Once we had spoken to the agency they got our room ready for 3pm and the woman who looked after us was lovely and very helpful. The location of the apartment is nearly ski in/out as you have to climb up hill for the last part.
