: Quirky place full of WW 2 aviation memorabilia from posters and reading material in the room as well as public areas to propellers, part of a Dakota cockpit, instrument panels, you name it this hotel is different and very interesting. The owner is a real enthusiast and also runs a small museum backing into the hotel. She also has a collection of Norman and other lace - interesting contrast to WW 2!Room (suite) comfortable with excellent walk in shower, double basin, heater. Good storage spaces. Very light. Windows have shutters. Ideal location a minute from sea and Embarcation museum (do not miss).All rooms different (one is entered through a bathroom!)Good breakfast to order (in detail) day before. Honesty bar but had no fridge with it so no access to ice/tonic etc.Parking needs to be booked in small courtyard. Very tight entrance but ok and secure. Space for 5 cars.
: Only negative was our mini-fridge was not working and could not be replaced during our 3 night stay. Although the use of their fridge was offered it wasnt so convenient as in back of the office and through a kitchen. We were up 2 flights.
