  : The chateau building itself is beautiful the room was big and there was plenty of space, not charging for kids beds is also a plus, the location is quite good and local to some lovely restaurants.
  : I felt deceived, the pictures on the website do not represent the current state of the Chateau, the tennis courts are in disrepair, the driveway overgrown and full of weeds the gardens surrounding the chateau are all overgrown and full of thistles, the swimming pool is not in use and is filthy and is viewable by guests. The room itself needs a lot of work the bed was so uncomfortable and felt like a 11 year old mattress full of springs, the bathroom was really disappointing, there was mould around the grout and it was extremely dated with a shower curtain, the toilet had a strange lid which was extremely uncomfortable to sit on some sort of electric bidet. For a luxury place with luxury prices it did not meet expectations of a luxury stay. The owner was not friendly, we tried to ask him questions and he was not interested in answering them and was very curt and short, he checked us in in about 5 mins and we barely saw him after that. They offer a bar for free but no mixers and no ice and this room was also a mess and dirty. There are about 11 cats on the property no where is this disclosed, I have allergies and this should be mentioned as they are inside the Chateau also and in common areas where there are huge trays of food and the smell of cat is overwhelming. Breakfast is terrible your in a local area with amazing food and its all from a supermarket, frozen pastries, cheap sliced cheese, they offer eggs but I got two spoonfuls of dried eggs, worst part there was a boiled fly in our tea, disgusting. We advised the owner we were checking out early the next day at 6am at no point did he ask for payment, we assumed booking.com would take the money so we left the next day, the owner called us constantly as we were travelling back with our children on a 12 hour journey demanding we pay him on paypal and to give him our card details so he could write them down which we found unsettling we booked through booking.com which is a secure system and were not comfortable.

  : Beautiful chateau, tastefully done. Feels as if you have the whole chateau to yourself. Spacious beautiful room with a wonderful view! So peaceful.
  : Breakfast is ok but nothing special.
