Very Good
Traveller Type: Business Traveler
  : The studio is right in the centre of the old part of Aix (ca 15 minutes on foot from the bus station). It's not as noisy as some earlier comments suggested (I slept without ear plugs, and I'm a light sleeper). There's air condition (plus thick curtains in the window), microwave oven, ironing board+iron, hair dryer, TV, fridge. Wifi is very good. The bed is really spacious and comfy, and the whole place is clean. It's good to keep in mind that the studio is in an old building (re some comments below - there IS light in the staircase: when you get inside the building, it's on your left), so you can expect some romantic neglect :) The thing with collecting the key from a box, which was elsewhere in the centre, was perhaps a bit inconvenient, but the deposit box wasn't that far away (4 min from the studio). Everything I needed was within walking distance (e.g., the University - 16 min, Muse Granet - 8 min). On Friday and Saturday mornings, just around the corner, there is a fruit/veggie/fish market - you can stroll among the stalls and look at the gorgeous colours of heaps of paprika, eggplants, courgettes, etc.

  : The location was great. It's a noisy plaza but that what you get when you stay in the centre.
  : The toilet leaked and smelled horrible, the shower head needs to be replaced, paint was falling off the walls and the general feeling was that the place was falling apart.
