Disappointing

  : Castillo de Santa Clara is a huge apartment building right at the sea front. The location is great. However, you need to carefully check what apartment you are getting, as the size, equipment and state of renovation can differ quite significantly. I have been able to see with my own eyes apartments 515, 612 and 712, which are great, but 108 where I stayed this time was pretty lousy.
  : Apartment 108 where I stayed is pretty small, old and run-down: bad value for money. The equipment is basic. Airconditioning was not complimentary, you needed to pay for it by the hour, which I found quite outrageous. The towels provided were totally useless. Contrary to what was described on booking.com, there was no WIFI in the apartment, the landlord only provided access to the general WIFI of the building which is very weak and only works on the balcony, in the reception area and in the pool area. The swimming pool was inaccessible, open only from 1st June, which was a great disappointment. Other apartments in the same building (for example 515, 612, 712), which I was able to look at while staying in Torremolinos, are pretty nice and cost roughly the same as mine. So carefully check what precise apartment you're getting.

  : Location, swimming pool, swimming pool area. View from the apartment . These things make this apartment. Just needs some adjustments. Would stay again!
  : Bit dated. Sofa bed creaked. Shower broken, balcony light not working. No kettle or toaster.

  : Location was perfect with a lift direct down to the beach. View from the apartment was stunning. Basic apartment, we stayed for a week and only thing we really missed was a kettle!

  : The apartment is quite small and the equipment is very old. The dishes was dirty and we found even a cockroaches in the bathroom. Very small balcony. For the price that we paid it was very poor.
