  : Miguel; without him there would be no life in this museum!The casa architecture, history, and antiques contained within are worthy of a visit..... but like all museums, one day is enough experience.
  : The casa is first and foremost a museum... simply using it's visitor income to help the upkeep; as a hotel it is truly poor. A member of staff will greet you on arrival (& usher you round on a guided tour, as soon as you put your bags down!), and Miguel is there at mealtimes... but staff are impossible to find at any other time without resorting to ringing the front door bell!!The Wifi is truly awful; we had 5 different devices which all failed to find a viable signal.The casa is located 15/20 minutes drive from the nearest shop/garage/cafe which is perfect if you like the quiet countryside.... well it would be if every corner of the casa wasn't invaded by piped music (opera and imitation 15th century parlour music), that starts early and continues until midnight! They even have speakers on the outside balcony that would otherwise be an idyllic spot to enjoy the peaceful Spanish countryside!Breakfast is plentiful...but basic. Evening meals are served between 21.30 - 23.00 (!!!), and (perhaps due to covid?) has no choice at all. It is a 4 course meal... the same for all guests... and if your tastes are broad it is very nice, but if you are a bit particular with your food you will probably struggle.Miguel is ever present at both meals.... thankfully, because he's a true star, and without him..... well it doesn't bear thinking about!The casa advertises itself as 'English speaking'.... but there is no one that speaks English to my level of Spanish....and my Spanish is awful!!!Finally.... sleep wasn't easy either! Our room (Cipres) was an attic conversion!! I am 1.85m tall and had to lower my head to avoid the (artificially vintage) wood beams to access the bathroom.... and the bed? ... well that was ridiculous! (see photo). Outside in the fields there is a shotgun bird-scarer that explodes every 15 minutes or so, and continues throughout the entire night!!

  : Bed was comfortable. Dinner good, but no choice available. Staff very helpful and friendly. Super quiet location and effort to provide an ancient Casona for the benefit of present day travelers. Well done.
  : The Suite was disappointing. "Antique" wash hand basin very damaged and cracked. Single filthy cold water tap, no hot water tap! Breakfast only served after 9.30.Free standing bath not "senior" friendly. Very deep and slippery. Great for younger generation!Wifi very iffy. None in the Suite nor mobile signal.
