  : For me it was the second time in Via Lucis and if there were going to be a third visit to Santiago, I'd choose it again. The place is welcoming, with free and spacious parking, perfectly situated on the campus, a few hundred metres from the university comedor in the Fonseca buildings, on the opposite side of the Alameda-hill and park, a nice fifteen minute walk from the edge of the historic centre of the city, with halfway just about the best panoramic view of the cathedral that you can imagine. They were renovating many rooms, with perfect new beds and so on, so very promising. The staff is helpful and very professional.
  : If I could add one wish, it would be for the same number of chairs as there can be guests in a room.

  : I enjoy staying here. It's spare but clean. Decent continental breakfast for 5. It's a nice walk from the old city to the university campus where It's located.

  : 20 minute walk to old town. Nothing close by. Currently construction going on during the daytime.

  : Secure Parking available. Location and historical building.Comfortable beds, quiet at night.
  : Building Work going on in corridors. Room not finished as no bedside lights - just wires sticking out of walls.Quality of work in bathroom poor .. sink/ shower not sealed so leaking water.Very little hanging/cupboard space.

  : Quiet and peaceful setting. Very nice breakfast.
  : Nearly missed my taxi for a very early pickup due to the front gate being shut. The property is about a 20 min walk from the city center which was not near places to eat etc. it would be nice to have some place to make hot tea etc.

  : Staff were very helpful. It was interesting to stay in an old convent. It is very basic but location was close to the cathedral and also the train station. The vending machines were also handy
