  : 24 hours before we arrived, they called us saying the hotel was overbooked and told us we were instead staying in another hotel and they would pay for a room in that hotel for us. Only after the call, when we went to see the other hotel here on booking, we noticed the replacement hotel was way worse and a lot cheaper than what we paid. They never said that they would pay the difference. This left us feeling ripped off as they would've simply stayed with the excess money. After pointing this out they said they could cancel and issue a refund. We said we prefer that, and after that they started to ask for our IBAn on WhatsApp while our reservation was still confirmed here on booking. When we said we preferred to get the refund through booking.com we didn't get any answer back. End of the story, we just checked out of our hotel we booked by ourselves and 4U Miranda is still with our money. The room we never saw is also still with status confirmed and we spend the whole day without a single reply from the hotel. If you check the negative reviews on Google, people have similar experiences with cancellations. Update: Only at the end of the day I should have checked out, and after contacting booking.com customer service, my booking was canceled, and my money was refunded. Also, after that, 4U Miranda director contacted me, apologizing for the inconvenience and justifying what happened with a water problem and technical problems with booking messages. I appreciate this message, and now my whole experience seems like it was a result of a reckless and irresponsible staff member who doesn't represent the whole hotel.

  : The parking place was relativ easy to find, but i suppose that is because we were there in October.
  : what was wrong: 1. There were no blankets. It was pretty cold at night, so i called to manager, which must be available (as it was mentioned in the hotel) 24h, but that is not true. At this night, around 00.00-00.30, nobody answered on my calls. 2. There was no toilet paper. 3. The locks in the door are terrible. They can be opened with a screwdriver or paperclip. So before going to bed I double checked if the door was closed, and in the morning we woke up with the complete opened door. It seems like nothing is missing, but I'm not sure. 4. there was no warm water after 23.00 and till 07.00, really?? 5. I have told everything in the morning to a woman on the recioption. she was not surprised by these facts. especially the lack of hot water, she knew very well that there is no warm water at night. They didnt offer us any discount, just offered us coupons for drinks at the bar. who needs them? Awfull!
