This university residence is located in Salamanca 10 minutes’ walk from the Plaza Mayor. It offers a fitness centre a games room with a Nintendo Wii and modern air-conditioned rooms. The rooms at Residencia Hernán Cortés are simply furnished with light wood. The Suites come with a seating area with a sofa and flat-screen TV as well as a balcony and a kitchenette.
All rooms have internet access. The Residencia has a bright dining room and there are vending machines for snacks and drinks. There is a variety of good restaurants within 5 minutes’ walk. The Hernán Cortés has a pool table as well as a TV room with a DVD player.
There are laptops available for rent and the Residencia offers free Wi-Fi in public areas. Salamanca’s iconic Catedral Nueva (New Cathedral) is a 10-minute walk away. Please note that the residence is open to the university community including students professors researchers administrative staff etc all year round.
