  : Lovely rural location, lots of bird song, fruit trees (we were invited to help ourselves to some of the fruit), comfortable house, lovely fireplace with plenty of wood, well equipped house/kitchen, plenty of towels.. very cosy bed, plenty of space. Lots of privacy. The neighbouring houses belong to Liliana's family and they were not living there during our stay, but would drop in occasionally to tend to their (beautiful) gardens. Because of covid, no tea and coffee provided, though there were some condiments. Liliana was lovely, really sweet and very helpful, always on hand to answer questions. She provided a lovely fruit basket and some wine from her finca, as a welcome present. Locationwise- not too far from Santa Cruz and decent access to the main throughways of the island. We did have a car (could not stay here without one) and parking was provided. If you want more convenience, you could stay in the Santa Cruz area, but we thought it a perfect compromise between a lovely green, rural location and convenience and proximity to the city/main roads.
  : The only thing I think we struggled with was the hot water pressure. The water was lovely and hot but the pressure was so low that we did struggle. It wasn't just weak, it was almost trickle like. Plenty of cold and tepid water though.
