  : Self catering ! This was our second time to the property and loved it again so much that we want to book again ASAP ,the owner Desiree was lovely and nothing was too much trouble, excellent all round !
  : The only thing we would have liked was Air conditioning, it only had mobile cold air blower in the bedroom but was told she was having it fitted soon ! The whole property was nice and clean but think some people would find it a little tired! Not an issue for us though

  : It was advertised as having air con, there wasn't any The pool needs a cover as was always getting dirty Need more loungers that move up and down When I booked, it said I had paid the cleaning fee, I then had to pay this at the villa

  : Good location and very spacious property. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable & was good to have the washer and dryer. The pool is a decent size.
  : Unfortunately the caretaker didn't speak English so was she could not answer our questions.The tree needs cutting as the bits just blow in the pool. The waterfall in the pool didn't work, the outdoor shower didn't work, the jets in the bath didn't work. The TV in the bedroom didn't work and the wifi only really worked downstairs.The doors need oiling as the screeching woke the whole villa up in the middle of the night and the garden furniture/loungers need replacing. Defo need aircon as the fans/units are next to useless.

  : I would like to take the opportunity to complain about our stay at Villa Aloe in Porta del Carmen from the 28/05/23 to 04/06/23. On the first night of our stay our son jumped up to find a cockroach running across his chest which was clearly very unpleasant and consequently slept upstairs on the sofa for the remainder of the week feeling quite traumatised by the experience, on the same night our daughter went to the bathroom and found two cockroaches on the bathroom floor. The next night having slept with the light on she saw another cockroach in her bedroom which she was sharing with her four year old daughter, protectively she slept with the light on and again had very little sleep. We bought traps and caught at least a dozen more which seemed to be coming from the bathroom We booked this villa for a treat for our family to celebrate our fortieth wedding anniversary which should have been a relaxing time for all but instead turned out to be very disappointing. The villa was very tatty and needs updating to a good standard. In general many improvements could be made, I feel I have worked hard and saved up for a family holiday which should have been a unique family experience but was quite frankly a disappointment

  : Loved the space, lovely outside area.Pool got the sun so it was warm. Very spacious and comfortable inside. Great location.
  : No Internet connection. Towels or bedding did not get changed in our 10 days stay, cleaner only comes at the end of your stay.

  : Pool was nice but needs updating. Beds are comfortable. House itself is nice.
  : Unfortunately there were lots of ants and cockroaches. Ants were in & around the rug in living room and on main floor down stairs. We sprayed the spray that was left in the house. My son could not sleep in his room as it was infested with ants. Cockroaches we think came in the window upstairs where the beautiful tree is.i watched one night and it crawled up the tree and over to the branch. So if window was open it comes in. One came in and jumped from top of stairs to bottom.MAJOR ISSUE was NO AIR CONDITIONING. We emailed before our holidays to confirm and it was confirmed. When we arrived there were 2 humidifiers..... not even iced water helped cool down the rooms. In the photo on booking.com it shows an air conditioning unit on the wall in the bed room. There is none! Will not be returning.

  : Location is fantastic. Size and layout of property was great. Having a contact was good just in case.
  : Property could do with some TLC and minor maintenance . Trees cut around 1 of the baloncies. Stairs from outside balcony to pool needs attention. Looked up proce to stay again next year same time but quadrupled which is a shame as we would stay again if minor issues addressed.
