  : Everything was really surprisingly clean all the time and the dining hall staff collected used plates away really fast. The daily cleaning and 24h front desk worked great. Room was spacious with big balcony, but the view was not that great.There was free minigolf (with deposit for putters and balls), but the courses were pretty beat up especially at the tees. Food in breakfast, lunch and dinner was plentiful but mostly pretty bland and similar every day (which can be a good or a bad thing depending on your tastes, daily routines and habits), but you can always season it yourself if its too bland, as there was a fairly good assortment of condiments. There was almost always free roadside parking near the hotel, except after dark they were all always full.
  : Communication. Nowhere in the Booking website or in my reservation it was told that the Spa was not in use and under renovation at the time of our stay. That was one of the key reasons why we booked this hotel, otherwise we would have booked another place.We also had high expectations of the place, but we did not want to eat there every day three times, so we chose half board instead all inclusive, but lo and behold, that was a mistake on our end. It was not communicated anywhere in advance or at the resort or in the Booking website that only the all inclusive included other drinks than water with meals, so we had to contact Booking customer support whats the deal. Also they didnt tell that all-inclusive also included other perks like free drinks at the bar too. Unless you knew that already, which we didnt (and should not be assumed from travelers), we most likely wouldve gone with all inclusive instead of half board.Pool water was not heated, at least in the winter. It was REALLY cold, even in the jacuzzi, which Ive personally never experienced before. Also pool was open only from 10-17.Location. If you have not rented a car, this hotel is pretty far from everywhere by walking and the bus only traveled very seldomly to/from the Pto Cruz center. Unless you had a car in use, you are pretty much stuck at the resort or need to walk everywhere or take the paid attractions.The entertainment was mostly amateur level, and bingo was WAY too fast. Im used to playing with no background noise with numbers coming every 10-12 seconds, not every 5 seconds while music is blasting at full volume. Also varietee show was just a dance show, not varietee.Some of the especially older male staff were really really rude and that really made us not feel welcome, but all female staff were really nice to us.

  : Lovely staff, clean room - nice to have sun loungers on the balcony as well.
  : Would be nice if some drinks other than water were included in half board. Maybe just at breakfast or just at dinner. Still great value overall and would go back!
