  : The gym is inadequate for such a large and expensive hotel. Additionally, the want to charge for a safety deposit box use in your room. Considering I was paying 350 a night for a top resort hotel, I found this request utterly ridiculous!

  : The buffet restaurant has so many choices and (almost) everything is well-cooked. You can have cuisine from all over the world. The breakfast is particularly good. The hotel is beautiful looking. It is well located right by the dunes, and not far from Yumbo centre (12 min walk). The staff are mostly friendly, and smiley.
  : The place is too strict with their rules. If you are a group of friends wanting a relaxed fun holiday I would not stay here. It strangely attracts a certain kind of older, more miserable clientele, who stare at you (ironically I felt quite judged here as a gay man by mostly older women). There are many pointless rules like you can't walk with shorts and a vest on, through the restaurant, and they don't p[lay any music anywhere in the hotel which makes the place feel very grave and serious. It lacks any atmosphere. Even by the pool, everyone is deadly quiet. The staff are forgetful, or pretend they will do things but don't. I had two rooms booked under my name, and one of my friends was arriving on the second day to check in. I told them 3 times this was happening, and when he arrived they denied him a room saying it had been cancelled. Then after causing much stress I intervened and they found it. It was totally preventable. They also refused to bring coffee to our room. we called reception to ask for room service and they said they don't do that. What 5* hotel won't bring customers coffee? The rooms are comfortable but like the rest of the hotel it is dated and looks like something from the 70s/80s. Don't come and stay here for a fun relaxed holiday, there are much better 5* hotels in the area for half the price like the Lopesan

  : Floors could be slippery at times. Strange puddle in lift one day. Large hotel with surprisingly few lifts.
