  : Casa Torgal is very near to the route to visit the Sil, so it is a very good option if you want to walk and know more about Ribeira Sacra. The room is not big but comfortable and it has everything you can need. They provide towels and shampoo and there are hidroalcoholic gel.

  : The surrounding area is wonderful, but the accommodation is lacking. I realise that these are extraordinary times, but a little more effort would have been nice.
  : When we arrived, and after having advised the hostel, we had to call the owner to get access. We had to go to bar next door to complete check-in procedures. Bathroom had a leak, so we informed the person in charge. 2 days later when we left, it was still leaking.The heating wasn't switched on, and when it finally was, we couldn't regulate the temperature.

  : The room was exceptionally clean and all the staff were helpful. The bed was a bit soft for me, but everything was well maintained and obviously following COVID guidelines

  : The location, right in the centre of the village, was outstanding. From here it's so easy to reach some fascinating places by car, including local monasteries (active and ruined), ancient burial sites, take a boat trip through the gorge, and see some amazing mountains. Our favourite view of the fantastic gorge was actually walking distance from the hotel, though, at the Balcones de Madrid. We are vegetarian and found the staff in the bar were happy to provide us with information about the ingredients in their dishes and there were plenty of tapas options for us. (We speak Spanish, so asking for this information was not difficult, I can't remember whether the menu was translated into English, or not). There's another restaurant next door which also offers some vegetarian options, although we didn't eat there in the end. Car parking was in a field that serves as the village car park, a short distance away. We left some of our (non-valuable) belongings in the car overnight and felt safe doing that. Our room was clean, although basic, and was lovely and light in the morning.
  : We arrived in the evening, so understandably the receptionist was not there. (Around 8pm, and had telephoned in advance to advise of our arrival time). It was easy to collect our keys from the bar downstairs, but we felt we missed out on advice regarding local places to visit that the receptionist would have told us about (we overheard others checking in the next day and thought their welcome was excellent). Perhaps a "welcome pack" could have been provided with leaflets / written information for us? The room felt quite basic and the bathroom was a little bit austere. We felt it looked better on the photos than in reality. This didn't spoil our stay, but we felt the price was a little high for the quality of accommodation.

  : Very nice location close to the River Sil Canyon with view several view points in the area. Very nice room with the heating and nice bathroom. Good view from the room. Staff very nice. Good internet connection. There is a little kitchen in the reception area and fridge which you can use. Public parking is available around the property.
  : There was no kettle in the kitchen but I got some hot water from the bar next door, arranged by the owner. No hairdryer provided.
