  : Noisy until 4.30am. Bedroom was above the bar and entrance.The bed was very rickety and we never managed to get a lot of sleep after a very long journey.

  : The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Location was just outside town which was ok. For anyone staying in Medina del Campo, go to the tapas bar/restaurant Mejillonera. The tapas bar has a menu to rival anything in an upmarket, large town restaurant. We had some fabulous food there. The mussel croquettes were delicious and the cuttlefish hamburger was a foodies delight!!
  : The bar staff were unhelpful, but to be fair, this was possibly due to our lack of Spanish. They seemed to be rushing around all the time and had no time for us. There was no actual breakfast room in the hotel. We had to go to the bar and choose whatever was on offer, croissants, tortilla, coffee, orange juice. We then had to collect this. A man at the bar was using serviettes to wipe his hands/blow his nose, then just threw them on the floor until he was surrounded by serviettes but the staff didn't ask him to stop. Not a pleasant sight. We chose to pay more for a room that was called a suite but it was just an ordinary room with a spa bath in the bathroom. There was no shower, just a shower head laid on the bath taps, no shower rail or shower curtain There was a mini bar in the room, but this was just a small fridge with the door wide open when we arrived with nothing in it. The bed was not very comfy. The room needed updating!

  : Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke! The barman said the restaurant opened at 9pm. The receptionist said no it was closed. We'd driven for 5 hours then had to walk into town in the pouring rain to eat.
