  : The service of Villa Gran Canaria was good and they responded to my complaints of loud noise in the fridge, pool not heating up and garden condition not up to specification to accomodate 6 people
  : The garden was very small and fully in the shadow and did not accomodate 6 people. The fridge made loud noise and the pool did not heat up until we had maintenance look at it

  : Los Lagos 16 was nothing like the pictures which are shown for the actual villa, you really need to show that tiny little pool as the only thing which is part of Lagos 16 - and not as it's currently shown with 3 different pool types and different pictures of different villas. POOL: (i) The pool was too small - it was tiny and should NOT be called a pool, the edges were razor sharp and dangerous. (ii) The heating method for this little pool was so loud that it was difficult to sleep over. (iii) Pool "staff" leave filling pipes in the pool instead of taking it out when they are finished and cause the pool not to be heated for 2 days even though it's been paid for! VILLA: (i) A family with a small child does not appreciate a massive glass table in the dining area - what are you thinking? You really need to get rid of glass tables and start using things which are family friendly. (ii) The stairs with glass hand rails are also not acceptable for small children. The area outside the villa was tiny and also not reflected appropriately in the pictures. (iii) There is way too much traffic going past and making too much noise here, there is a continuous flow of traffic through to early hours in the morning - really really annoying. (iv) The Villa has severe health issues with the amount of Ants and Cockroaches everywhere - this is really really disgusting. (v) The sliding glass doors which are basically everywhere on the ground floor has a locking mechanism which hardly even works - this is completely insecure and not acceptable. (vi) The furniture in the "lounge" area was dirty, old and had a lot of bumps, breaks and tears. (vii) Ripped and stained bed sheets are not acceptable. Easily one of the worst places we have ever had to live in, even worse than some war zones I have been in - a tent and a sleeping bag would have been more comfortable.

  : excellent welcome packcomfortable and good size bread every morning delivered to your door
  : the very high price to heat the pool for the week, particularly as the property had solar panels. given what you pay for the villa, I feel this should be included in the price written instructions for kitchen appliances, tv, air con, etc should be provided the bbq area was difficult to use as it was dark in the evening (it was dark by 6 pm) and there was no table/area to put food, utensils, etc. whilst we were out, we had someone coming and changing the pool cover without notifying us. we would have appreciated a message saying this was going to happen

  : The villa was lovely and clean and lots of space. The beds were very comfortable. The bread rolls in the morning and the welcome pack were nice touches. The pool was heated and a big hit with the kids. The site itself was quiet and relaxing. The nearest towns could be reached in 10-15 mins. The hosts were especially accommodating when our flight home got cancelled, we can't thank them enough for organising everything at such short notice.
