  : We received the keys at a travel agency next door to the apartment building. Very nice and helpful guy. There isn't a reception at the building and there is a phone number for an after-hours manager. The apartment itself was very nice and modern, at a very centric location -less than 2 minutes walking to Puerta del Sol. The address is at Calle de los Jardines, but you are effectively at the corner with Montera. It had a little kitchenette, well equipped.
  : I stayed for 1 night with my family at a 3rd floor apartment. After dining out, and when we were getting ready for bed, we noticed many, many little black ants on the kitchen and by the bed, the type that comes out at night. We notified the manager the next day and she said they hadn't noticed during cleaning. We hadn't seen then during the day either and as soon as we got up and turned the lights on, they all scrambled away. The manager said they would deal with it after our departure, but that night we went to bed with ants going around. The location is a double-edge sword. You are literally a couple of minutes from the actual center of the city, and that is wonderful. The problem (to me) is that the building is at the corner of a narrow but very busy street full of restaurants and bars with terraces -which are open until 1 AM or so most days of the summer. Impossible to sleep until everybody is gone. There is a very busy restaurant with a huge terrace just 10 yards from the building. Not the fault of the hotel (maybe better windows?), but to keep in mind because even with the windows closed it is very noisy: people drinking, laughing, talking and yelling until they close. For some people, this might not be a problem and my ratings are just partially based on that. But the worst part of all was that I was awakened at 8:07 AM by a text message from the building manager telling me that she needed to know when we were planning to check out (check-out time was noon). I travel a lot for work and that had never happened to me before -nowhere, ever. In combination with all the early deliveries for the restaurants (think of cases of glass bottles, beer barrels, cars and people in and out, etc), setting up terraces for breakfast, etc... no more sleep.

  : nice modern clean appartmwnt in the center of the town
  : - very loud, especially at weekend nights. - some sokets were defect (e.g. at the bed) and need repair. - WIFI code didn't work at all. We contacted the owner several times wirhout solution of the problem. We tried 4 different devices.
