  : My room was adequate and the location was good. I had booked a single bed room but they didn't have any of those so I ended up in a room with three beds and it was reasonably comfortable. Showers/bathroom is shared but the facilities were in good order and clean. This is in a central location in Madrid and I was able to walk to all the main tourist sites from here. Theres plenty of restaurants that stay open late nearby as well.
  : The check in was a bit weird. I showed up to a locked door and had to call a number on a poster on the wall. Reception buzzed me in but them I was in a dark entryway that was under construction. Another guy coming into the building who lived/worked somewhere else in the building showed me where to go. I think that could have been a bit clearer

  : This is not the first time I stay so I like it generally. This time there were less guests in the property which makes it quieter and definitely I had a good sleep. The room, bathrooms and whole property is very clean, sheets and towels smell fresh, all rooms are renovated. I stayed in single room facing the inner yard and it was quiet from street noise although the inner walls are very thin. For a hostel room it has everything you need - sink, perfect and fast internet, top location, cleanliness, friendly staff. Will come back again. When you reserve a room chose the ones facing the inner side of the building otherwise the street noise and the lack of sound proofing will make it difficult to sleep. Very good value for the money for a hostel in the heart of Madrid.
  : The room is just next to reception so everyone coming and going is heard, conversations, trolleys. The walls are paper-thin -no sound proof, the doors are not solid wood, there a big gaps below and therefore lack of sound isolation. There is a safe box but costs 1.

  : The location was good. The only good part about this accomodation.
  : The room smelled like a sanatory. On the bed sheets there was long black hair. Even if the sheets were clean somebody had access to the room to just hang out. The same hair was on the blanket. The bed was terrible, with every move would squeak walking you up from your sleep, the mattress was harder than the floor. You would hear every noise from the hallway or other rooms. He were "lucky" enough to have a couple next door that listened to music loud and sang and drank and eventually threw up (we heard it all) until we called reception and complained. It was 1:00 am when we said it's enough. Oh, and in the morning, one got to have a shower and water ran out.
