  : The room we had booked was on the first floor with a mountain view and was lovely. it had an onsuite bathroom and a small sitting area with a view. very good cleaning service. reception staff very helpful
  : On arrival there was an error with our room, ?overbooking. They gave us a large ground floor apartment in the main building instead but it was too large, and lacked views. people had been allowed to bring dogs in and it was evident. it needed a good clean. This was rectified the following day when we moved to the correct room. i would not recommend the ground floor family apartment unless you love dogs.

  : The location is good, close to the beach and relatively close to the village.
  : The sheets of one of the beds were not clean. My son noticed when we went to bed (after 11pm) that the sheets had a lot of sand in it. We knew the front desk closed after ~9pm, but we tried to see if there was any contact information in the apartment and we couldn't find it. We improvised to spend the night (there were four of us and we had three places to sleep) and the next day I presented the case at the reception. They were a little shocked, but that was reflected in an "offer" of a 10% discount on the payment. As it seemed clearly insufficient, I presented the case to Booking, which also did not help to date. In short, we usually see if the service is good or not when things go wrong. In this case it went wrong, the answer given was terrible and here I am commenting so that other people know what they can count on. For a night that costed almost 300 euros, this clearly wasnt like staying at the Ritz. Next time I'll take pictures, though it wouldn't surprise me that the property would question whether it was us who had filled the sheets with sand and not the previous guest.

  : The property had water repulsion issues (at the door seal, and possibly underfloor too) in the buildings added to the main building (including the one we were due to stay in) on at least one occasion, several months before, we were informed by one of the employees. The owner had apparently disagreed with the assessment - either way, what seems to some extent avoidable was not addressed by the time we had arrived. We were refunded in cash the cost of our two nights stay. That is different and is not sufficient compensation for what we paid for - two nights accommodation. We are lucky that the formal difference in accommodation was only 10 for two nights - but he refused to cover this cost. This is appalling behaviour and in our view, should not be tolerated by Booking.com. We looked to Booking.com to recover these costs and received no acknowledgement. But the property also included free parking. And this was also not contemplated or compensated by the owner. We spent 30 on parking during our stay, and again we looked to Booking.com to recover these costs. Finally, the owner was in no way engaged with helping us find replacement accommodation. He refused to deal with us directly, left us to a very helpful employee, and indeed left the property before the issue was resolved. We further look to Booking.com to compensate us for this loss and inconvenience to put holiday.

  : Gorgeous views but the place felt a little old and needed updates. The room was very spacious. The free parking is a bonus as parking in Lekeito is very difficult.Bathroom wasn't clean, shower a bit difficult to use and blankets on bed were stained. The passage down to town has no light so you have to use torches after it gets dark.Staff was very very helpful.

  : Dreadful place. We had the apartment. It should not be let out to customers in this state. Filthy, old fixtures, disgusting bed and pillows, rust on the cutlery, a toaster that would give you a disease it was so encrusted with filth, towels the thickness of a handkerchief, ridiculously uncomfortable settee, bare electric wires coming out of walls. We booked for 5 days and left after 3. No wonder they demand your money in advance. I could go on, but let's just say this is the worst place I've stayed in for over 50 years of travelling
