  : The staff was not welcoming or helpful. The air conditioning, refrigerator and hair dryers in both our rooms were not working. We were told that we could have dinner in the hotel and when we sat down we were told that there was no dinner because of COVID. It was 10pm so already too late to go to town and look for a place. We had three menus for lunch but they charged us for four because one of us ate a bit from the other. If they explained this to us there wouldnt be any problem but they didnt. Overall the service and the communication of the staff was terrible. Normally in the BnBs we have stayed in the receptionist is more than willing to explain the area and give us some ideas of plans but here it was like pulling teeth. The hotel was also full of flies. We have stayed in many farm houses and rural hotels and have never had any of these problems. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

  : lovely surroundings, historic building that is modern & comfortable. Luciano made sure we could get some dinner even though the restaurant was closed Monday evening. Safe bicycle storage. The hydro-tub in our room was a bonus for bicycle travelers. Wi-Fi is very good.
  : a bit impersonal or simply respectful of not disturbing guests. we wouldve loved wine with our meal, but there was no actual service; example - the oil & vinegar for the salad appeared 40 minutes after we finished the salad. it didnt matter too much as we were grateful to have a meal. if you leave the window open at night, you will be visited by lots of mosquitoes.

  : Swimming pool is dirty, sauna not working, restaurant only open for lunch and weekend dinner. Only 1 very friendly staff took care of all the hotel guests also serving breakfast. Very busy man!

  : The property was beautiful. The age of the building and refurbishment of the original structure was, clearly, very well done.
  : This is a venue hotel and caters for various family celebrationsweddings, christenings and birthdays. We stayed and experienced the noise and general taking over of the hotel by a pre-teen birthday party of about 12 children. It was NOT a pleasant and not expected when you are paying a considerable tariff for your room.
