  : The decor in the hotel is wonderful. Full marks to whoever designed it! Also, each room has an excellent small fridge with an ice box, and a corkscrew was provided! It was lovely to lie on the sunloungers in the garden area and then take a dip in the pool. La Cabrera isn't a particularly interesting village but it's a only a short walk down the road if you need to stretch your legs or get supplies from the Eroski supermarket.
  : Our first room overlooked the terraza of the next door restaurant so we had to keep the windows closed to block out the noise. This wouldn't be a problem in winter but on a hot summer night with only a fan to cool things down, it wasn't great. However, on mentioning this problem the next morning, we were moved to a room overlooking the back of the property which was much cooler and quieter.

  : We liked the host a lot. She did a great job getting us a breakfast ahead of time due to our early departure. However, there were a few things which we wished could have been better. For example, the lights in the rooms were too dim with no options to make them brighter. I had to use the flashlight from my phone to see and work with the coffee maker. Also, there wasn't no air conditioning, so it got quite hot in the room.

  : Good location, easy access from the motorway. There was covered parking and the access gate was locked at night. The accommodation was spacious with a sitting area, small food preparation area and bathroom downstairs, the bedroom was upstairs. There was a huge choice for breakfast, quite impressive.
  : Lighting was a little dim, barely enough light to read by.

  : No one to meet us, hotel was closed. Nowhere open for food in the area. Should have this hotel been open?Given a one bedroom apartment as the hotel was closed.Told breakfast started at 09.30am, not acceptable, we had a continental buffet breakfast delivered the night before.

  : The receptionist Dori was there and was left with a very difficult situation. She tried to handle the situation but was let down by the Management.
  : The Management were non existent. Building looked derelict and the garden was overgrown. Long walk from parking area. No visible hotel sign. Tiny metal plate on gate. NO other guests . Arrived just after 8 pm. No restaurant or food offered. Breakfast not served till 9 30 in the morning. We wanted to leave earlier by 8 am. Took 90 minutes to check in and get in a room. Had to get a breakfast tray. No fresh fruit and one stale croissant. Receptionist tried hard but the Management was at fault for not ordering any food. The bathroom did not have a Spa bath as advertised. Shower fitting was broken. Hardly slept as no ceiling just pitched roof with rafters and rats, mice, squirrels and birds walking over the roof all night. Was left alone with no security in the hotel. We had to be trained on locking and unlocking the main entrance. Plus had to open the large metal gate to the street ourselves in the morning. Was difficult with no training. We left at 7 25 am after a terrible stay. This Hotel Management should be ashamed of their indifference to guests and to put their lone receptionist in such a poor situation. Plus Hotel have not answered a request from Booking.com about all the complaints made about this hotel.
