  : We were very happy with the location, the staff, the dinner and breakfast. The gardens are beautiful and the view was stunning.
  : The room was very stuffy and had no ventilation and smelled like damp. The room was very dusty and there were cobwebs on the ceiling. The bathroom wasnt very clean and the toilet was dirty from the previous guest. WiFi was simply non existent in our room.

  : This one is difficult. The property is historic and unique, and charming if inconvenient in a number of respects. We stayed at the recommendation of a celebrity chef we read online (and he doubtless gets better treatment than we did). After a very rough arrival, it wasnt until checking out that we had a truly lovely conversation (and tour) with our host. We stayed for two nights, not three as booked, leaving a day early because there was little left to do and because of the dust. Others clearly love the place and we absolutely see why. But for us, the standout favorite part of our stay was that our hosts agreed to release us from having to stay a third night.
  : Arrived clearly to the surprise of our hosts, which surprised us given we booked 3 nights many months in advance. To be fair, the disheveled appearance of the place was the result of a wedding they still had not recovered from. (We met the bride and groom.) The place is inconvenient to anything and we were counting on dinner at their restaurant as we were famished. With no notice, we were simply told they would not be serving dinner that night. (With 18 rooms, we were the only guests that night.) The place is stuffed full of genuine antiques, far far too many to clean or dust appropriately. Clearly no one does. Unfortunately many of these antiques are fabric and the place reeks of dust. My wife kept saying that she felt like she was living in a doll house. Even the bedroom was full of dust. Again, our favorite part was being allowed to leave: It was clear they wanted us gone as badly as we wanted to leave. After we left we think they were closing up for the season.

  : The hole building is like a museum and the nature around. The staff was very helpfull.
  : The ceiling is very low in some places of the room and you have to blend yourself or hit your head (and I did sometimes)

  : Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel. The only shortcomings are its difficult location with GPS, and that they do not have air conditioning. Otherwise perfect.
  : Hard to get to using GPS. No Airconditioner.
