  : Beautiful building and exeptionally well appointed. Lovely bed linen and bathroom facilities. Just a coffee machine for the morning, and breakfast wld have been fab. But a very interesting and beautiful place to stay, full of history.

  : One of those hotels with a locked door but a ring at the door bell elicited an immediate response and reception administration dealt with very efficiently. The room looked out onto a not very busy or noisy main road and, though we would have preferred a room with a different aspect, it was not a problem. We knew in advance that the establishment served no food but finding an arrival snack and evening supper presented rather more difficulty in this small town than we had anticipated. Breakfast in a local caf was very good. The hotel itself was very attractive and clearly well maintained.
